Regular exercise is crucial to your health. With two exercises, you can improve your fitness in the long run.
One thing is for sure: we’re all getting older. It’s a lot more fun when your body and mind stay in shape for as long as possible.
Before you rely on expensive creams and supposedly miracle workouts, you should incorporate two simple exercises into your daily life – right now.
Experts advise: make exercise a habit
Exercise improves your fitness. Regular exercise reduces the risk of disease and also extends your life expectancy. According to experts, just two selected exercises are enough – you don’t need expensive fitness equipment and you can do the exercises anywhere.
What exercises will help you stay in shape in old age
We’re talking about burpees and jumping rope. What’s special about it: Both exercises train strength and endurance at the same time and are an ideal full-body workout that can slow down aging.
1. Exercise: burpees
- Start with a deep squat and place your palms on the floor in front of you.
- Now bounce your feet backwards so that you land in a push-up position.
- Now briefly touch the floor with your chest and immediately squat down.
- Finish the exercise with a straight jump and then repeat the sequence.
Note: If you are a beginner, make sure you maintain a suitable pace.
2. Exercise : Jumping rope
You should spend about half an hour with a jump rope. Jumping has a special effect if additional weights are attached to the rope.
