The chef has revealed the changes to his diet that helped him drastically lose weight in just eight months.

Italian chef Matteo Grandi shared on his Instagram account how he managed to lose 90 pounds in just eight months. The trick was to stop consuming two specific nutrients.

The decision that changed his life

Solution. As is usually the case in such cases, it all started with a revelation. Matteo realized that his eating habits were not the best and decided it was time to make things right: “Absorbed by life and commitments, I had lost sight of my well-being. Not only aesthetically, but also my health. Suddenly a light went on in my head. The only thing I need is willpower, the rest will start later,” he explains on his networks.

Positive changes. Matteo weighed over 185 pounds and decided to stop taking two nutrients: “I eliminated carbs and sugars. It really changed my life. I knew they were the main culprits behind my weight gain. Since eliminating them from my diet, I feel incredibly better. My energy is off the charts, my mind is clear, and I’m working at double capacity,” he says.

First Results. After eliminating processed foods from her diet, the results soon appeared, “I lost the first 15 pounds, my skin improved, the psoriasis on my elbows disappeared…. even the sweat stopped smelling. It was clear that my body was inflamed,” he says.

Clarity of Mind. Chef explains that the effects of his decision have also affected his mind, “Now I go to the gym, ski and run. I wake up very clear. Before, it was hard for me to get up. It was like coming out of a fog,” he concludes.
