What is it:
Chamomile originated in Europe and West Asia and has been valued by Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks for its medicinal properties. Egyptians considered the plant sacred, believing it was a gift from the God of the Sun and it has been used as a calming beverage ever since. Its rich nutrient profile along with active chemical compounds like chamazulene, apigenin, luteolin, beta-carotene and bisabolol, make it a definite all-rounder to be consumed in teas, smoothies, lattes and even in baked goods! Fun fact: Its flowers, on hydrodistillation, yield a blue oil extensively used in medicines, cosmetics, and food.

How to use:
Wellness*: Mix 1 tsp of the powder in a little bit of boiling water. Add a sweetener - maple syrup, honey or sugar. If you prefer a hot latte, top it up with hot milk of choice, otherwise add ice and top it up with cold milk!
It can also be added directly to your favourite shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, soups or curries for an added boost.

Skin/Hair Care: Mix the desired amount in your face pack, hair mask, etc. and apply directly on your face or scalp. It can also be infused in any oil for direct application!
