This herb has been used for centuries by Indians, Greeks, Egyptians, and the Chinese. The Licorice plant grows in the wild and has small purple and blue flowers, but obtains its sweetness due to the presence of glycyrrhizin in its roots. Fun fact: It is 50 times sweeter than sugar!
Wellness*: Mix 1 tsp of the powder in a little bit of boiling water. Add a sweetener - maple syrup, honey or sugar. If you prefer a hot latte, top it up with hot milk of choice, otherwise add ice and top it up with cold milk!
It can also be added directly to your favourite shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, baked goods, soups or curries for an added boost.

Skin/Hair Care: Mix the desired amount in your face pack, hair mask, etc. and apply directly on your face or scalp. It can also be infused in any oil for direct application!
